The Legacy of W1BB
Before working W1BB during International Museums Weekend, take a few minutes to learn about the man behind one of amateur radio's most respected callsigns. Stew Perry, W1BB, earned the nickname "Mr. 160 Meters" and helped shape low-band operating for generations of operators.
In this presentation, Jeff Briggs, K1ZM shares the story of W1BB, his station, his contributions to amateur radio, and the lasting impact he continues to have on the hobby today.
Special thanks to Jeff Briggs, K1ZM for preserving and documenting the history of Stew Perry through his presentations, research, and published works.
