Before the livestreams, before the full channel rhythm, before the RF weirdness had really escaped containment — there was a paper list, a radio, and a simple goal: work the HamTubers who helped pull me deeper into the hobby.
Origin Story
How This Whole Thing Started
Since I reentered ham radio, I have learned a ton from YouTube. The videos, reviews, and stories encouraged me to go further — especially in portable operations and Parks on the Air.
Somewhere along the way, I came up with the idea of building a bucket list and intentionally trying to make a QSO with my favorite ham radio YouTubers. It started small with a paper list, moved into Ham Alert, QRZ, and LOTW, and eventually became this page.
