Break & Build Guest Submission

Have a Club Story Worth Sharing?

Break & Build is looking for clubs, leaders, organizers, educators, creators, and everyday hams who are trying things that help amateur radio communities grow.

If your club ran an event that worked, welcomed new operators in a meaningful way, built a better mentoring path, reached youth, modernized outreach, or learned something useful by trying something new — I want to hear about it.

No club owns the hobby. Break & Build exists to spotlight practical ideas, real success stories, and collaborative conversations that help clubs become more welcoming, more active, and more connected.
Good Fits for the Show

Who Should Submit?

You do not need to have a perfect club, a giant membership list, or a polished media operation. Break & Build is about useful ideas other hams and clubs can learn from.

Events

Activities That Worked

Field days, POTA meetups, fox hunts, build nights, STEM demos, public service events, school programs, or creative club activities.

Mentoring

Helping New Hams

Ideas that helped new licensees get on the air, find confidence, meet people, or move from “licensed” to actually active.

Outreach

Modernizing the Message

Websites, newsletters, livestreams, social media, youth outreach, community partnerships, and better ways to explain why ham radio still matters.
